Actress Judy Greer visits Battle Ground Healing Arts to discuss new product line

Dr. Jillian Stansbury from Battle Ground Healing Arts met with actress Judy Greer at the end of April to discuss health support for peri- and post-menopausal woman.

Greer is the spokesperson and a founder of the startup WILE, a supplement brand geared toward women. The duo will collaborate to help launch the women’s health line.

“It was exciting anticipating her arrival, but Judy was so down to earth and easy to talk to, it made for a fun afternoon,” Stansbury said. “She is personable and open, and we spent several hours chatting about her personal health, as well as ways to help women claim vibrant health into their elder years.”

Stansbury said the company’s products have been featured by Forbes and have also received mentions from Vogue and InStyle magazines. The products will be sold at natural grocers and health stores like Battle Ground Healing Arts.

Stansbury said the company contacted Battle Ground Healing Arts personally. Stansbury helped formulate the WILE supplement line and helped with some of the documentation and scientific validation so the products could be sold at places like Whole Foods and similar markets. Stansbury said the executives of WILE wanted Greer to meet the formulator of the company’s product line to form a personal connection. The meeting of Greer and Stansbury will be used as content for the company’s website, social media posts, and more.

Stansbury said the WILE products “fill a gap” in available health supplements for peri-menopausal women, which is the period of time approaching menopause, and throughout the menopausal transitions and post-menopausal years.

“The WILE women’s products are unique, highly concentrated, safe and effective all-natural products, that unlike many supplement brands that create a single or several one-size-fits-all women supplement, offer a collection of highly specific products allowing women to choose what is most needed in their personal situation,” Stansbury said. “I have worked to give women non-pharmaceutical options to address menopausal symptoms over my 30 years at Battle Ground Healing Arts, as well as address the long-term concerns in bone density, genitourinary and mental health.”

She also said her decades of experience in creating finely-tuned formulations for specific issues like insomnia, hot flashes, emotional lability, and weight gain provided her the experience and insight to create “highly effective” and “time-tested products” for the company.

Stansbury was able to help devise the collection of products to address each issue rather than focus on a “kitchen-sink” type of women’s product.

“If early sales are any indicator, women across the country are appreciating this approach and finding the products very helpful,” she said.

Stansbury said the WILE products will be available at Battle Ground Healing Arts’ apothecary. Although Stansbury is preparing for retirement, she said she will still be available for women’s health consultations and will continue to oversee the apothecary, which she said features an “impressive array” of professional products and her own line of teas, foods, and other natural goods.
