AC/DC tribute band to kick off O’Keefe Farms Sunflower Festival

O'Keefe Farms will kick off its annual Sunflower Festival with its first "Concert in the Sunflowers," featuring Portland AC/DC tribute band Shoot To Thrill on Saturday, Aug. 1, at O'Keefe Farms, 17604 NE 182nd Ave., Brush Prairie.

The inaugural concert will feature live rock music at the farm ahead of the sunflower festival the following weekend. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. for the all-ages concert, which organizers have designated PG-13. Food vendors, lemonade and beer and wine for guests 21 and older will be available. Tickets are $24.50 per person.

The seventh annual Sunflower Festival will follow Aug. 8-9 and Aug. 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will feature more than 60 varieties of sunflowers, U-cut flowers, live music, photography opportunities and more. Festival admission includes two sunflowers for visitors to take home.

Festival admission is $10 for adults ages 13 and older, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children ages 5 and younger.
