Sophomore Derek Kropp was the only North County boy to state this season.
Ridgefield’s Derek Kropp is headed to the 2A state men’s tennis tournament on May 24 at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle. The state berth follows a third-place finish at the 2A Boys District Tennis Tournament last fall.
All other North County tennis players were eliminated in preliminary rounds, failing to make state.
