Report Inappropriate Comments

Voting no on this, not because I'm opposed to supporting our local fire department, but because it is my belief that 73% of 911 medical emergency calls is too high a cost when the area is already strongly supported by ambulance services. Our heroes in the fire departments need to save their strength and dedicated training for fighting fires, which obviously is no longer the department's most time-consumed focus.

Another thought; holding this meeting at 6pm is simply not a best opportunity for the community at large. Let's do this on a weekend when the majority of those interested can better attend and offer their views on this costly addition.
