Sadly and terribly another motorcycle rider was taken down by an inattentive driver. Turning in front of or running into a rider are actions tantamount to murder — manslaughter at the least. The rider is totally defenseless. There are no airbags. There is no crash cage. There is no seat belt. Riders always come out on the losing end when a car collides with them. Laws need to change that result in the immediate arrest of the car driver and impounding of their vehicle. Maybe then these fools that can’t drive safely will start to pay special attention when it comes to motorcycle traffic. Look twice. Save lives!
