Soon, fans of fast food living in Ridgefield won’t have to venture outside of their city to sate cravings of burritos as the city has received plans for a Taco Bell to be a part of the Discovery Ridge development.

The city received a site plan review for the restaurant June 3, according to documents obtained by The Reflector last week. The Taco Bell is a part of the second phase of the Discovery Ridge development which in its first phase includes a Rosauers grocery store.

According to the Discovery Ridge development page on the Port of Ridgefield’s website, a timeframe for Phase 2 was not available, however, it noted that Rosauers was scheduled to open in August.

The Discovery Ridge development is located at the corner of Pioneer Street and South 45th Avenue. Phase 2 and the Taco Bell will be located on land to the east of the first phase and according to pre-application notes will include a “credit union, three restaurants, retail space, and an office building.”
