Mill Creek Pub among nonprofit excellence award winners

The Nonprofit Excellence Awards of Southwest Washington were recently named by Nonprofit Network Southwest Washington. The organization has recognized 35 organizations since 2011.

The Nonprofit Network Southwest Washington provides professional development and support resources for nonprofit organizations in Southwest Washington.

The Nonprofit Excellence Awards highlight exemplary work being done by community organizations and businesses in Southwest Washington.

This year’s winners will be honored at 5 p.m., Sept. 7 at Warehouse’23 in Vancouver.

Evergreen Habitat for Humanity has been named the Governance Award winner honoring an engaged and highly effective volunteer board of directors.

Mill Creek Pub won the Community Support Award which recognizes a business that strengthens our communities through a deep level of support of nonprofits.

Northwest Association for Blind Athletes won the Impact Award for its high standard of work in changing the lives of their clients and inspiring community.

Police Activities League, Vancouver Public Schools and Evergreen Public Schools jointly won the Collaboration Award for a highly successful partnership allowing them to make a much larger difference for children by working together.

Teach One To Lead One received the Volunteer Program Award for their work with and support of volunteers delivering a program with exceptional results.
