131967 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received until 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 11, 2024 by the City of Battle Ground at the City of Battle Ground City Hall, 109 SW 1st Street, Suite 127, Battle Ground, Washington 98604, for the Senior Center Remodel (RR-FA-2023-02) project and other related work; then publicly opened and read aloud at the City of Battle Ground City Hall, 109 SW 1st Street, Suite 122, Battle Ground, Washington. SCOPE OF WORK Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the remodel of the Battle Ground Senior Center. Work may include, but is not limited to, a new rear patio cover / roof line extension, kitchen remodel, event space remodel, bathroom remodel, HVAC replacement, electrical work, CMU wall demolition and repair, asbestos abatement, fencing installation, paint, roofing, drywall, and more. City Council shall proceed to award the contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, but may reject any or all bids if, in its opinion, good cause exists, therefore, to waive informalities in the bidding and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder. PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND BID PROPOSAL can be e-mailed on request by emailing dan.hollen@cityofbg.org as of Wednesday, November 20th, 2024. All bid proposals, over $100,000, shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the building site on December 3rd, 2024 at 10:00 am. Attendance by bidders is advised, but not required. Bidders will have the opportunity to inspect the building as part of the pre-bid meeting. The site is located at 116 NE 3RD Avenue, Battle Ground, WA. Parking is available onsite in the Battle Ground Senior Center's parking lot.
