La Center sophomore swimmer Hailey Grotte finished second in two heats at last weekend's 1A/2A swim and dive championships at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Grotte finished with a time of 24.17 in the 50 freestyle and then a time of 52.66 in the 100 freestyle.
Grotte’s teammate, freshman Bryanna Ungs, took fifth in the 50 freestyle.
Ungs also took fourth in 100 yard breaststroke.
