The La Center boys basketball team capped a perfect league record last Friday evening with a 80-51 win over Seton Catholic. 

The Wildcats finished 13-7 overall, with a 10-0 record in the Trico League to capture the league title.

La Center will play Elma in the first round of the 1A district playoffs at 7 p.m., Feb. 9 at La Center High School. 


Prairie is sharing Greater St. Helens 3A league title honors with Kelso after finishing 9-1 in league, 15-5 overall. They play Bonney Lake at 7:45 p.m., Feb. 8, on their home court. 


Ridgefield finished third in the 2A Greater St. Helens League with a 6-5 record, 12-8 overall. This puts the Spudders in the third and final 2A district playoff spot, and they will travel to Centralia High School to play the Tigers in the first round on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.
