Woodland boys soccer make school history before bowing out

Woodland boys soccer lost 4-0 to Sehome in the 2A State Soccer Championship quarterfinals on Saturday in Bellingham. The loss follows a historic win on Wednesday when the squad became the first boys soccer team in school history to make it to state quarterfinals after beating Sequim 3-2 in Port Angeles. Jackson Finn scored all three goals for the Beavers with three assists coming off the boot of Jesse Thrall.

Woodland finished the season 8-3 in league and 13-5-2 overall.
