Rocksolid Community Teen Center is bringing a dodgeball tournament to Harvest Days in Battle Ground.

“We are excited to bring this entertaining contest back to Harvest Days,” said Executive Director Marcy Sprecher. “We hope there will be lots of fun, friendly competition.”

The event starts at 1 p.m. Saturday July 21 inside the east gym of Battle Ground High School. Teams of up to 10 players can register together for $100 at rocksolid-teen.com. There are two different age groups, including a 10 to 18 division and a 19 and older division.

Prizes are awarded to the winning team, the most spirited team and the team with the best uniforms. Concessions will be available. Ryan Philbrook with Amesta Media is scheduled to be the announcer. Local artist Amber Sweeney will perform the national anthem.

Spectators can watch the tournament for $1 per person. There will be a raffle, music and lots of fun on tap. Bridge Building Supply is sponsoring the event.

Rocksolid Community Teen Center offers a safe place and activities for 5th- to 12th-grade students in the Battle Ground and Hockinson school districts. The center provides mentors to help with homework, play games, make crafts, teach life skills, offer healthy snacks and opportunities to contribute to community service projects for $20 a year per student. Rocksolid is located in the lower level of Bethel Community Church.
