Battle Ground places fourth in state cheerleading championship

Battle Ground High School hosted the WIAA State Cheerleading Championships last Saturday which included over 60 different squads from across the state. Not all the teams competing had far to travel, though. Both Battle Ground and Woodland brought teams. 

Battle Ground High School Cheerleaders took fourth place among 1A/ 2A/ 3A/4A classifications for traditional coed. 

Battle Ground cheer coach Christina Wood said the team’s performance was amazing.



Woodland High School placed 10th among 2A/3A/4A for their non-tumbling routine.
