Battle Ground area senior citizens have plenty of activities to choose from when it comes to offerings from the Battle Ground Parks & Recreation Department.

The Battle Ground Parks & Recreation Department partners with the Battle Ground Senior Advisory Board and other area organizations to bring a variety of fitness programs and social activities for people age 50 and better. All of these activities are listed in The Senior Scene, a quarterly newsletter that highlights activities and events in the Battle Ground area.

Activities include monthly lunch outings, monthly potlucks, bunco, pinochle, fitness and exercise programs and more.

The Senior Scene can be found online at www.cityofbg.org under “Departments,” “Parks & Recreation,” “Recreation Programs,” “Senior Programs.”
