One position open on Clark County Arts Commission

The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants for a position representing the unincorporated area on the voluntary Clark County Arts Commission. The position’s four-year term starts immediately.

Members meet at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The commission is comprised of 11 volunteers who advise local cities and the county on a variety of issues, including art in public places and efforts to celebrate local talent and skills. The group also advocates for the arts in public forums and reports accomplishments to the community.
