The workers of the “backside’’ of the North County Community Food Bank are dedicated and they care and have concern for people in need, homeless and in need of daily food.
The workers in back need a “thank you’’ from the ones who come to the food bank for food. There is food to be kept cold and items that need to be shelved and put away. Food is checked and itemized and ordered, if possible.
Timing is important so the food bank can keep a steady flow of regular food items for daily or even weekly use.
The workers need a big “thank you’’ not only from us but also from businesses who help support and maintain donations that contribute to the health and well being of those who use the food bank.
