In Ken Vance’s Jan. 13 editorial, he expressed concerns over “collusion” among the three new members of the Clark County Council.
Is it possible that they may simply be trying to retrieve some sort of sensibility to our county government? Think about it. The two big decisions they made in the last year were:
• Should we put an “In God We Trust” sign in the chambers and, where should we put it?
• Should we ignore our Planning Commission and every city in the county and go with Alternative 4?
And Madore and his follower prevailed.
But it’s a new ball game now. I applaud their actions to “undo” some of the damage and, I hope, regain credibility as a governing body.
I don’t see a purposeful us-against-them from what took place.
