Who are you going to vote for in November? Hillary or Donald?
In my mind that’s like asking the condemned man whether he wants to be shot or hung come daybreak. His comment was: “Does it really make any difference, the result is the same.”
In this example, he will be dead, and so will this country, I fear. This will be my 13th presidential election cycle since I turned 21. I have voted in all of the first 12. I think it is fitting old “Lucky 13” is the first one I abstain from participation.
I do not do this lightly because I value the rights and privileges our forefathers bestowed upon us and the blood that countless Americans have shed for us to keep those same rights and privileges. For the first time in my life I’m not just picking the least objectionable candidate as I have been doing for the last few years. I’m truly fearful that this country may be irreversibly damaged or, in the worst case, destroyed by both of these two, no matter who is elected.
In good conscience, I can’t endorse either one with my vote. Please don’t lecture me about the importance of participating in the voting process. I agree with you. However, these two candidates have made making a selection impossible.
