Reflection on Netanyahu address to Congress

Posted

It seems to me, on reflection, that the 50 House democrats and 8 Senate democrats who skipped the joint session of Congress when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke, have exposed themselves as either outright anti-Semitic or so invested in their petty party politics that did it in blind support of our president’s childish snit.

Just where did it get them? They missed one of the most important speeches of our time, and made themselves ill-prepared to personally engage with any credibility, in any business Congress may address on this issue.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone in the Jewish community could ever vote to put such people, or any democrat for that matter, in office. Yet Jewish voters overwhelmingly vote for them, over and over again with exactly the same result – a figurative slap in the face. Maybe it’s a cultural thing and if I were Jewish I would understand it.
