As your constituent, I demand that you vote against and fight to defeat any new law, tax or regulation that would weaken, infringe upon, or harm my Second Amendment freedom in anyway.
This includes the Obama administration’s attempts to ban common rifle ammunition. Obama’s gun registration scheme, gun buyback programs, gun bans and new taxes and fees on my firearms and ammunition purchases.
You swore the following solemn oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”
The Second Amendment is a significant part of the U.S. Constitution which you swore to support and defend and that you will bear true faith and allegiance to same. I fully expect you to honor your oath.
Please know that as an NRA-ILA supporter, I will be monitoring your votes and your actions on every issue that affects my Second Amendment rights and I will do everything in my power to defeat and elected official who tries to take away my constitutional freedoms.
