I wanted to comment on Elie Kassab and the Gardner Center issue.
I have known Elie in my role as a regulator, a tenant and a citizen of the county. Elie has always been fair and honest, and a valuable asset to the community. Whenever I have asked him to contribute something to the community he delivered.
So I want to say that there are courts of law and courts of public opinion. Elie has always been a winner in the latter.
