Shehorn will maintain social safety net for most vulnerable

Posted

David Shehorn is the man to fill Position 2 in the 18th Legislative District. David is a retired electronics engineer, who has worked as a trouble shooter and problem solver for Sequent Computer, IBM and Longview Fiber. Since his retirement, Dave has shown his commitment to the community. He currently volunteers in the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Medical Reserve Corps, Clark Public Utility District Stream Stewards, and Clark County Watershed Stewards. Spare time finds Dave bowling in the Senior Leagues at the Hazel Dell Lanes, where he throws more strikes than spares.

As a legislator, David will focus on maintaining the social safety net for those most vulnerable in our state. He will defend family healthcare and emergency services. David will also promote proper management of our natural resources, improvement of our transportation infrastructure, and support of our educational system at all levels.

David takes a calm, reasoned, compromising approach to problems. Those who know him respect his ability to gather facts and explain those facts clearly. David Shehorn will definitely be an asset in the Washington State Legislature. Please give him your vote.
