Why is county still throwing money at West Felida Plan?

Posted

Could someone explain to me why Clark County is still throwing money at the West Felida Plan (WFP) as this was filed with the courts many years prior and agreed upon by residents of this area? Oh yeah, the New Felida Neighborhood (same leadership we see today) gave the county their blessings to deliver the money collected for the WFP to do NW 119th Street and got park benches in return, which is against the law.

Then there is the issue of stormwater running off their new improvements of NW 43 Ave. into the stormwater system of Ashley Heights, which has not been accepted by Clark County and the residents will pay for?  I had a good laugh when I got my Felida Neighborhood Association newsletter

this past week. Come on folks. Who is speeding in the West Felida area but neighbors that live there?

Lastly, the density we see was deemed upon us all during the first go around of Growth Management Act, then it was status quo thereafter. If you think the Felida’s roadways are failing, what do you think all of Clark County roadways are doing?  But again, I don’t see any neighborhood comments when it comes time for the SEPA process when it comes to new development, just more committees being formed after it’s too late.
