Which Clark County commissioner, now council member, introduced the pro-jobs Fee Waiver Program in 2013, removing all fees for start up and expanding businesses?

Prior to 2013, we led the state in unemployment, now Clark County is a leader in the state in private sector job growth.

Which county councilor championed removing all fees for parks and boat launches and bringing back lifeguards to Klineline park? We now enjoy the free use of our parks.

Which county councilor went to work with the staff to help find money in the budget to hire the long promised deputies? The budget was passed with money for eight deputies, without raising our taxes.

Which county councilor took a 20 percent pay cut his first day in office, takes no car allowance and does not file expense reports? Only one.

Which county councilor defended the citizens with his own money as a private citizen against light rail and $8 tolls and when elected was a leading voice in giving the citizens our long awaited vote? The voters said “no,’’ and light rail and tolls are off the table.

Which county councilor introduced the transparency project? Now citizens have easy online access to all county business.



Which county councilor pledged never to raise your property taxes? This commission/councilor has never raised your property taxes and recently renewed that pledge.

Which county councilor has taken the most criticism from The Columbian Newspaper editor because he plays on the citizen’s team and not the go-along-to-get-along, special interest team of entrenched bureaucrats and politicians? The editor of The Columbian has used his paper to oppose every one of these successful policies and to launch vicious personal attacks against those he doesn’t agree with.
