Nickels is a tireless advocate for the future of the BG community

We have known Mavis Nickels in various aspects and phases of our lives.

When Sam first came on the Battle Ground School Board during a turbulent period for the district, Mavis had already established a reputation as a voice of logic and reason. Serving as math and science department chair for Prairie High School, Mavis always put student learning and their welfare first.

As a businesswoman and blueberry farmer, she provided the best tasting fruit at a price that the community could afford. Along with her adult children, she leads numerous nonprofit organizations that make our world a better place.

Mavis is a tireless advocate for the future of our community and she has all of our votes.
