In the coming election, many of us will be voting to fill the brand new District 2 slot on the Board of Clark County Councilors. Ridgefield's Chuck Green is the man for the job. His 23 years of experience in transportation issues throughout the county will help him to serve us well.
He has worked respectfully and agreeably with community organizations in all parts of District 2. He can bring increased civility to the Clark County Board's public relationships. He will bring much needed emphasis to attacking county traffic problems, providing safe walkways and parks for families, stabilizing county funding, and ensuring that business developers pay their fair share of county development expenses.
Chuck Green has a history of serving his community, including work with his neighborhood association, volunteering in the Boy Scouts of America, leadership in the Charter Yes campaign, and organizing a county voter! s forum asking "Where Have All the Voters Gone?" He and his wife Linda coordinate a partnership between their church and Sacajawea Elementary School to help students and their families.
Chuck is stepping up once again. He would like to correct the tarnished image of the Board of Clark County Councilors. Please give Chuck Green your vote so that he can get to work.
