Please support Mavis Nickels for her re-election to the Battle Ground School Board.
Mavis is very active in her support of students, as demonstrated by her part in the American Association of University Women scholarship fund each year for Clark College women.
Mavis also participates each spring in the recognition of southwest Washington high school junior girls by contributing her time to honor and present a certificate of recognition to each of the highest achievers in science, technology, electronics, or math. These certificates of recognition may be included in the student’s portfolio for university entrance.
Mavis actively works toward the student’s success, as she did when she served as a high school teacher.
Mavis should be re-elected to the Battle Ground School Board in order to continue to do what she does best – work to guide those who want to help students.
