I attempted to alert the city that a large, dead tree overhanging a paved city street was in need of removal. Although the tree is on their right of way by 10 to 15 feet, I am informed that by some obscure law, it is my responsibility. Having no money for this, leaves people at risk.
Why did the city annex us if they will only shirk responsibility?
