As a retired Clark County Sheriffs Office (CCSO) sergeant, I often find myself being asked who I am supporting for sheriff. I have worked with all the candidates. I am aware that they are all, unlike me, conservatives. What I look for in a sheriff is the experience, knowledge, and ability to run the department.
Chuck Atkins has been endorsed by all the CCSO guilds, by retired and current deputies, and the Central Labor Council. He has received numerous endorsements from both Liberals and Conservatives.
Chuck is a genuine, good man who has the knowledge and ability to be an excellent sheriff. When we had a crisis, we were all relieved when Chuck arrived. When we needed to plan for a major event, if Chuck was involved in the planning, we knew it would go well.
As a Liberal, I will be proud to vote for Chuck. I recommend others do the same.
