The Battle Ground City Council has decided to put a stop to signage on city thruways. This includes: yard sale, open house, lost and missing pets, etc. They have not placed the rules or regulations online and have not provided the citizens with guidance.

From what I’ve learned, the city and the city council have been at odds in regards to this policy.

Rather than eliminate signs completely, it would make more sense to set rules and guidance. For example, citizens should place their address and the dates of the yard sale. This would ensure that signs are picked up promptly after their sale. Set limits for days a missing pet can be posted.

Elimination of all signage is ridiculous in my opinion.

Please go to the city council meetings and speak up for your neighbors.
