Gizzi is running for State Representative 17th District. He is known in this community as a businessman, a Commissioner on the Clark County Planning Committee, a volunteer, friend, and a honest forthright person who works hard to help others.

Jim is passionate about strong public education for all children. His goal is to ensure the state, not local levies, bear the responsibility of funding K-12 education. He wants students to be prepared for and have access to a college education or the option for technical training through skill center programs for those wanting to enter the work force out of high school.

If our schools do not help our children prepare for their future, our community suffers. Jim knows this, and has been active volunteering, has experience working with the state and local officials, serves as PTA legislative chair, and sees first hand what challenges our schools and families are facing.

Jim is about meeting these challenges head on and working for solutions with others, regardless of party. He is about strong schools and strong communities.

My family is voting for Jim Gizzi. We need his expertise, skills, and work ethic helping our district.
