We dodged a bullet

Posted

For the rest of my life I will never understand why more people do not embrace the wisdom and contribution of Commissioner David Madore.

We dodged a bullet when the overly lavish I-5 toll bridge failed to materialize. Property values would have plummeted because fewer people would be willing to pay the gatekeeper to cross the Columbia River. Without Commissioner Madore this I-5 bridge would be a sad reality… a smothering wet blanket we could not shed.

When you expose those who gain their sustenance from the public treasury, the onslaught is relentless. Think of the money pump. Labor unions give money to politicians and they in turn vote salaries, pensions and perks that are unsustainable, David Madore is outspoken about this. Never lose sight of Detroit… $19 billion in unfunded liabilities and the average home value is only $5,500.

We are always just a few bad politicians from the same plight.

Study David’s track record. Be bold, vote for fiscal esponsibility.
