What a joyous, positive-spirited, educational, entertaining day we had as Ridgefield celebrated its first Multicultural Festival Saturday, September 1. It brought together people, foods, music, singers, cooks, crafts, dancers, and more to represent many countries and cultures of our world. It was well-conceptualized, well-organized, and beautifully executed. Thanks to the library, the city, Megan Dudley, the other planners, and volunteers. This day needs to be an annual signature event for the community of Ridgefield.
