Liberals have resulted to bully tactics in an attempt to silence their opponents

It could be said that the editorial section of The Reflector has become home to a narrow reaching group of people who employ thug-like bullying tactics against others in order to shut them up.

This small group of bullies, for lack of a better term, will target any person who would dare to oppose their point of view, their agenda, or their political ideology by making it their job to track down the home addresses, phone numbers, places of employment and social media accounts of these folks and begin a campaign of harassment and intimidation in order to silence them.

This “shut up or else” tactic has become the tool of many of bullies who sway left of center in modern day politics. These bullies are neck deep in their hypocrisy as they employ fascist tactics against the very people to whom they are labeling as fascists.

Their message is clear, shut up or else. We own the editorial page of this and all other newspapers and conservatives are not welcome.

These politically motivated, often more than not, self-described liberal-progressive Democrats, seem unable, or unwilling to have an open discussion of their views in a civil and tolerant manner. Instead, many of them elect to take the low road and rely upon thug tactics, personal attacks, ridicule, and ever-increasing doxing campaigns against those they disagree with in order to silence them and prevent other points of view from being heard.

The bullies who employ these repugnant tactics are often more than not, emotionally unstable individuals who lack even the most basic understanding of civil discord. These intolerant people are so devoid of intellectual ability that they, therefore, feel empowered to do as they please in order to achieve the goals of their personal, ideological, or political agendas.

Their behavior, actions, and lack of civility must not be tolerated and when employed, it and they must be rebuked loudly and firmly for all to see and hear. They do not own the editorial pages of any newspaper and we as conservatives have the right to have our voices heard. Our point of view should not be silenced by those who fear freedom. Freedom is not a dirty word, and it is not an extremist point of view. It is, however, a fundamental right that we all share and should all exercise without fear of being targeted and bullied for it.
