The Ridgefield School District is committed to providing the highest quality of education possible for all students. Ridgefield schools are all currently running at over capacity due to the amazing growth in the district and the city of Ridgefield.
The district and the Citizens For Ridgefield Schools have developed a cost effective plan to build a K-4 elementary school, upgrade HVAC systems at elementary schools, renovate and modernize vocational education training spaces at Ridgefield High School, improve student access to modern STEM programs, replace portable classrooms with permanent classrooms, secure entry points including new security cameras and locking systems, covered play areas at both elementary schools, add additional classrooms to the high school and continue creating a positive learning environment for all Ridgefield students.
The Ridgefield School District has a clear vision: reduce class size for kids and teachers, offer modern technology, ensure students are safe at school and be accountable to district taxpayers.
