Gary B. McMann

Raised in Marlette, Michigan, Gary McMann graduated from Marlette High school early to join the Navy.

He served in the Navy for two years, rising quickly to the rank of Yeomen third class with Patrol Squadron Five out of Jacksonville, Florida aboard the USS Ticonderoga. Then he went on to serve an additional four years in the Air Force 576th Strategic Missile Squadron at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

A man of unfathomable courage, he married Donna June (a mother of four) November 23rd, 1967 and was her partner in life for 51 years.

He proved to be a father of immense patience, unparalleled wisdom and unmeasurable Love whose mentoring and life lessons helped carry his children through life’s trials.

He is survived by his wife Donna, daughters: Debra and Rhonda, sons: Patrick and Michael as well as two sons: Cory and Scott from a previous marriage, and a sister: Sandy.

Gary who had recently moved with Donna to Salem, Oregon passed quietly in his sleep April 9th, 2019.

An Entrepreneur, Manufacturer, Realtor and Artist, he will be greatly missed for some time to come.

Services for Gary B. McMann will be on May 11th, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens off 112th Ave. in Vancouver, Washington with Bishop Dyer officiating. A small graveside ceremony will follow. Food and drink will be served in reception room immediately following the chapel service.
