On Dec. 27 Clark County Sheriff’s deputies and fire and rescue units responded to the 18100 block of NE Lucia Falls Road for a single vehicle collision.
The vehicle, a 2004 Infiniti G35, was traveling westbound on NE Lucia Falls Road when it left the roadway and collided with brush and trees. There were five occupants in the vehicle during the collision.
All occupants were minors. One occupant suffered critical injuries and another occupant suffered serious injuries. Both were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The other three had minor, if any, injuries and were turned over to their parents.
Several of the passengers were not wearing seatbelts. Excessive speed appears to be a contributing factor. Officials said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this collision.
