Clark County Public Health welcomes nominations for the annual Public Health Community Award, which recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding contributions to promoting and protecting community health.

Nominations are due March 31. Forms are available on the Public Health website at www.clark.wa.gov/public-health. Completed forms can be submitted online, by mail or in person. Details are on the form.

“The Public Health Advisory Council is especially interested in hearing about individuals or organizations in Clark County that work to prevent health problems, forge partnerships and strive for community-wide outcomes,” said Trevor Evers, council chair.

A committee of council members and Public Health staff will review nominations and make a selection.

The award will be presented during the Clark County Board of Health meeting at 9 a.m. on Wed., April 22, in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
