On March 12 at about 8:30 p.m., a Battle Ground resident witnessed two cars speeding westward on Northwest 23rd Street.
Located in a residential neighborhood, Northwest 23rd Street has a speed limit of 20 mph. The witnessed observed one of the cars purposefully striking several garbage cans and recycling bins as it sped down the road.
Battle Ground police officers were provided surveillance video of the vehicles and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
The first vehicle is described as a white 1980s model two-door, the second vehicle is described as a mid-to-late 1990s model white four-door.
