Firm Foundation celebrates science, technology, engineering, art and math

Firm Foundation Christian School will open its doors to students, parents, families and community members from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.

This event is free to attend and will have activities available for children in Kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is located at 1919 SW 25th Way in Battle Ground.

The purpose of the “STEAM Night” open house is to give children and parents an opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities together. Some of the hands-on stations and demonstrations include magnet painting, straw rockets, marble mazes, kaleidoscopes, microscopes, structure building, and chemistry experiments. Family and community members will also have the opportunity to see the facility, meet staff and develop a better understanding of the school’s offerings.
