Clark College helps students dress for success

Imagine that you’re about to graduate from college and have lined up your first job interviews.  You have a resume and you’re eager to succeed.  But you’re nervous because you don’t have appropriate business clothing to help you make a good impression.

For the past eight years, the Clark College Career Clothing Closet has supported students’ efforts to further their career and educational goals by providing them with professional clothing for job interviews, scholarship interviews, and other occasions requiring appropriate attire.  During the past three years, the Career Clothing Closet has welcomed nearly 1,900 Clark students, helping them dress for success.

The 2012 Clark College Career Clothing Closet will open its doors to Clark College students on April 19 and 20, providing one free outfit per person. Dates, times and locations are as follows:

• Thurs., April 19 – Clark College Main Campus, Penguin Union Building 258 B & C, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Fri., April 20 – Clark College Main Campus, Penguin Union Building 258 B & C, 9 a.m.-noon.

Clark College is located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.  Driving directions and parking maps are available at www.clark.edu/maps.
