Earlier this month Firm Foundation Christian School of Battle Ground, located at 1919 SW 25th Ave., announced their launch of a three-year strategic plan which will prioritize program enhancements, professional development, staff compensation and campus needs, a news release from the small private school stated.
The first item on their to-do list is finding a new plot of land for their high school. The new location will allow for larger computer and science labs, expanded electives, enhanced STEM opportunities, ADA accessibility and expanded athletic facilities.
Firm Foundation currently has more than 300 kindergarten through 12th grade students.
“Relocating the high school will have a positive ripple effect on Firm Foundation as a whole by allowing our early childhood, elementary, and middle school programs to expand and continue to flourish,” said Administrator Julie Olson in a news release.
Spokesperson for the school, Katy Horn, said the school has looked at multiple plots already but did not suggest that they were leaning toward a specific option.
