Update: Teens are now home: BG community members looking for missing teens

**UPDATE: According to the Where are Haelli Pitman and David Canfield Facebook page, Haelli and David are now safe at home. The families want to thank the community for their help and support.

BATTLE GROUND – Several community members in the Battle Ground area are on the lookout for two teenagers that have been missing from the area since the early morning hours of Sept. 18.

According to fliers posted by family members and friends on the Battle Ground, WA, Facebook page, Haelli Pitman and David Canfield, both 15 years old, were last seen Fri., Sept. 18, around 2 a.m. Pitman was last seen wearing a purple hoodie and is 5-foot-1-inches tall with a slender build. According to the flier. it is suspected she also has a colorful, patchwork backpack with her, covered in band buttons.

The two are both missing from the Battle Ground area. According to Sgt. Fred Neiman at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, both Canfield and Pitman are listed as runaways at this time.



Both families of the two missing teens have continued to reach out through social media, posting on Facebook that they just want to two to return home safe and also stressing that no matter what they are worried about, they can work through it.

A Facebook page has been set up titled “Where are Haelli Pitman & David Canfield?” Anyone who thinks they have seen Pitman or Canfield should contact the Battle Ground Police Department at (360) 342-5200.
