Clark County Fair - Since 1868

Posted

The Clark County Fair is but two days away at the height of summer, and it appears the weather will cooperate as forecasts call for 80 degree days and mid-50s nights, perfect for the 10-days of fantastic fair fun.

The musical acts this year are explosive and country, with Queensryche, Trace Adkins, Los Lonely Boys and Foghat among those who will play.

Lots of action is planned as well, from mutton busting and bull riding for those who like a bit of rodeo, to Moto X, demo derby, Tuff Trucks and Monster Trucks for the gearheads, to a diaper derby for the kids to a hot dog eating contest for the adults. Carnival rides top it all off.

The center of the fair, the heartbeat, is still the kids and their pigs, cows, sheep and all sorts of other critters, attended to by 4-H and FFA participants.
