Battle Ground work crews will be repairing the pavement on a stretch of Southwest Scotton Way starting tomorrow, leading to a closure according to a city release.
The portion that will be closed is Scotton Way from Southwest Second Avenue to Southwest Fifth Avenue. The closure will last through March 20.
The repair work is scheduled for the most damaged areas of the roadway that have developed deep potholes and crumbling asphalt, with plans to remove and replace the areas with new asphalt.
The city release noted the project was paid for by funds from the city Transportation Benefit District, and Battle Ground is looking to secure grant funding for more repairs for the roadway between Southwest Ninth and Parkway avenues.
