BG Police arrest seven in narcotics investigation

Battle Ground Police took seven people into custody Sept. 20 after an ongoing narcotics investigation led to a search warrant served on three buildings in the City of Battle Ground.

During their investigation, police also recovered a small amount of cash, 190 growing marijuana plants, one handgun, dried and packaged marijuana and one vehicle that has been seized for forfeiture that was suspected in being used to deliver the narcotics.

Assisting detectives from the Battle Ground Police Department in serving the search warrant were the Clark County Sheriff’s Tactical Detective Unit, the Drug Task Force, Vancouver Police Neighborhood Response Team, Department of Corrections, Washougal Police Department and Camas Police Department.

The serving of the search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into reported narcotics being sold at a business located at 607 E. Main St., Battle Ground. The business, known as KGB Kustom Glass, is licensed to James D. Dunn, Jr. The search warrant was served on three buildings simultaneously, which included a residence at 407 NE 3rd St., Battle Ground, the detached apartment/garage at the same address and the KGB Kustom Glass business.

Suspects arrested were:

• James D. Dunn, Jr., age 51, owner of KGB Kustom Glass. Dunn was booked on charges of Manufacture of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (marijuana) and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

• April D. Fraser, age 28, employee of KGB Kustom Glass. Fraser was booked on charges of Manufacture of Marijuana and Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (marijuana).



• Mathew E. Gramling, age 41, employee of KGB Kustom Glass. Gramling was booked on charges of Manufacture of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (marijuana) and Distributing marijuana to a person under the age of 18 years old.

• Rick Walter Johnston, age 60. Johnston was booked on Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

• Julia M. Cory, age 49, employee of KGB Kustom Glass. Cory was booked on warrants for her arrest.

• Bradford V. Hickman, age 49, employee of KGB Kustom Glass. Hickman was booked on warrants for his arrest.

• Unnamed 17-year-old juvenile suspect who listed an address in Ridgefield. Officers are referring charges to Juvenile Detention Hall of Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana) more than 40 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on this suspect.
