Those interested in learning how to connect employees with their company’s vision and mission will have an opportunity at Washington State University Vancouver’s upcoming Business Growth MAP Alliance forum. The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., May 16, at CoLab, 810 Main St., Vancouver.

Bob DeKoning, independent consultant and board member with AutoAP and Kimera Systems, will discuss revisiting vision and mission and finding ways to engage employees with the  organization’s purpose. DeKoning has been leading businesses for more than 30 years and helping rally employees around the company’s goals.

The forum is open to all, with registration online at business.vancouver.wsu.edu/bgmap — click the link “upcoming events.” The cost is $10 per person in advance or $15 per person at the door; there is no cost for students with a valid WSU student ID.

The Business Growth MAP Alliance brings together small businesses and entrepreneurs to learn from each other, industry experts and WSU Vancouver faculty.
