A new Ace Hardware store in Battle Ground was recently built and opened in a new location at 1605 W. Main St., in Battle Ground.
Grand opening events and specials will be going on at the new store Wed., Oct. 1-Sun., Oct. 5.
On Fri., Oct. 3, a ribbon cutting at the new store will be held, which will also include cake and coffee. The rest of the day will include free popcorn all day, wheel of prizes at selected times and chances to enter to win daily and grand prizes.
Grand opening events will continue Sat., Oct. 4, starting at 8 a.m. with doughnuts and coffee. From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., there will be 50-cent hot dogs and free soda, along with a Green Mountain Grill demonstration, Big Green Egg Grill and vendor demonstrations, all day free popcorn, wheel of prizes and more chances to enter to win daily and grand prizes.
On Sun., Oct. 5, there will be wheel of prizes at selected times, chances to win daily prizes and at 4 p.m. grand prize winners will be announced and posted. Different grand prizes include men’s or ladies’ Shogun 21-speed trail bike, a Green Mountain “Daniel Boone” pellet grill and a Craftsman five-drawer steel tool center.
The new Ace Hardware is considerably larger than the old location at 720 W. Main St., Suite 112, and the garden center at the store is also quite a bit larger. All employees and the store manager were transferred to the new location.
