Area churches gather for Sunrise Service

A group of 16 area churches will gather together to sponsor a Community Easter Sunrise Service Sun., April 5, at 7 a.m. in the Central Section of Lewisville Park.

The public is invited to attend the event. Lewisville Park is located at 26411 NE Lewisville Hwy., Battle Ground. There will be no charge to enter the part for this service.

This year’s featured speaker will be Pastor Brad Vos of CrossWay Church..

An offering will be taken at the service to benefit North County Community Food Bank. Last year, the offering for the Food Bank was $1,981.37.

Also this year, a number of Battle Ground churches will join together for a “Stations of the Cross’’ event on Good Friday, April 3, from 5-6 p.m. at Kiwanis Park, located at 422 SW 2nd Ave., Battle Ground. The public is invited to attend.
