What are your plans after high school?
“I’m going to WSU (Washington State University) for a computer science degree.”
What’s your favorite memory from High School?
“Playing in the jazz band.” He played all four years and enjoyed traveling to different places to play.
Any advice to incoming freshman?
“Do all your hard classes — get them out of the way.”

“Building a family with everyone here, because I truly believe all these people are like my family.”
How do you feel about graduation coming up?
“I fear the unknown.”
What’s next for you?
“I'm going to Clark College, mostly because I just want to go to school. … I’m blank on the future past that; I take it one day at a time.”

Favorite part of high school?
“I’ve been here since kindergarten, so I know the community really well and I love that I could go to anyone here for anything at anytime.”
How do you feel about graduation coming up?
“I’m pretty nervous. I’m only going to Tacoma for Pacific Lutheran University, but it feels like ages away.”
What’s next for you?
“I’m going to study nursing and play soccer at PLU. I hope to have traveled the entire country as a nurse in the next decade before settling back down here in the Pacific Northwest.
Stephanie Massart, Prairie High School
What are your plans after High School?
“I’m going to Portland State University.” She plans to study some form of science and statistics.
What’s your favorite memory from High School?
“I’m glad I had the opportunity to go to a high school that made a lot of memories good.”

“It’s not as scary as it is the first few days.”

Favorite part of high school?
“All the friends I’ve made is definitely my favorite part and getting to know so many different people.”
How do you feel about graduation coming up?
“It’s scary, but I’m ready to grow up a little. It’s going to be hard to give up everything from the last few years here.”
What’s next for you?
“I’m going to play volleyball at Lower Columbia College. In 10 years I see myself with a family and a successful job but I don’t know what that will be yet.”

Favorite part of high school?
“Being with people I like here every day. Also going to state in football and basketball.”
How do you feel about graduation coming up?
“I’m excited right now, but I know I will miss it right after.”
What’s next for you?
“I’m going to go to Clark College and hopefully will get an apprenticeship as an electrician. I might try out for the Clark baseball team too.”

Will be heading to Humboldt State to play soccer, and is thinking about kinesiology as a major.

“Do everything you can to get the experience that you can.”

“Going to state for soccer.”

Will be interning at Helioscope Studios in Portland for comic art, hoping to become a professional comic artist.

“Always be determined to go for what they want, and not lose sight of what their dream job would be.”

Participating in art shows.

What he will be doing:
Will be attending Lipscomb University in Nashville to compete in cross country and track while majoring in business and marketing.
Advice to incoming freshmen:
“Be on top of your game. Do what you are told when you are told … and it should be a breeze.”
Favorite memory:
Overall, being a part of the high school team, but in particular going to state with the cross country team.

What he will be doing:
Wants to take on music production, and has a concert coming up involved with Make a Wish in Portland in June.
Advice to incoming freshmen:
“High school goes by fast, like a million miles a second, so don’t waste any of your time.”
